Dr Kariem El-Boghdadly, has been appointed an Assistant Editor.

Kariem El-Boghdadly completed undergraduate training at University College London in 2007, and proceeded to undertake his anaesthetic training in South East School of Anaesthesia. He was awarded the Nuffield Prize for the FRCA and completed fellowships in pre-hospital medicine in Sydney, Australia, followed by regional anaesthesia in Toronto, Canada. He has written and published original articles, educational articles, book chapters, FRCA books, and is set to complete an MSc in perioperative medicine. He is an external reviewer for Anesthesia & Analgesia, and is the current Anaesthesia Journal fellow. Kariems research interests include regional anaesthesia, airway management and perioperative medicine.
